Today there are so many ways to communicate that it is leaving us completely dependent on communicating through technology. Our ways of communicating include: social networks, blogs, email, text messaging, twitter, cell phones, online Skype, and snail mail. This has made it easier for people communicate with each other. However with the plethora of communicating options it can be hard to decided how and where to get certain information. I often get a good deal of my information form a blog type site called The Feed, which is on G4TV.com. This site is updated every day with new information about video games, movies, and all different types of tech related things. I like the Blog format that it is set up in because it doesn't require me to search for anything I can just browse through the different headlines and read what interest me. I like the blog format for my news because I often find new things that I usually wouldn’t be looking for while I’m going down the page. I also like the way pictures can be used in blogs to create interest on the topic they are talking about.
However I feel as though email is much more convenient when it comes to having a personal conversation with someone or when you are communicating with someone for business purposes. It is much easier to see who sent the message to you i also like how gmail organize mail. Because it goes by conversation not by message. When someone emails you it is under their name along with all of the other emails that you and the other person have sent back and forth. This way of organizing email makes it much easier to communicate with others. I feel as though gmail is probably the best way to communicate with people because it also allows for you to send emails to people as well as video chat and instant message. Being able to do a bunch of different types of communicating in one device or in one area is how we will communicate in the future.
