The blog that I chose to follow we TechCrunch. This blog posts numerous times a day from a lot of different people with all sorts of technology based posts. They cover everything from rumored technology all the way to reviews of current technology. This blog also links social media with the blog so you are able to share any article that you read. The blog is also split into sections so that you are able to search for posts by certain forms of technology. When I was following this blog for a week I found it interesting how every time I went to the site there were tons of new posts just for that day. Sometimes it is hard to believe that there is that much technology in the world to talk about.
The article on email I did not think was accurate. I have heard for quite some time now that email will be gone within a few years, however I don't think that is true. I know I have been using email now more than ever. We do have a lot of other forms of communication but nothing like email. Facebook and Twitter posts will not be able to relay the same information as an email does. Also an email seems a lot more personal and private than all of these different things. I really don't see email going anywhere in the near future.
