Weekly blog and Email

This week I have followed f-my-life blog that serves as a short recollection of everyday unfortunate moments. Yes, the f letter means “F#$%”. People can view different categories of stories such as love, money, kids, work, health, intimacy, and miscellaneous and as well as f-my-life from a different country. I notice all sorts of people from different age groups who post on this blog. This is a place where people can let it all out and unwind their spirit by sharing their life stories, and maybe realize that they are not alone in experiencing this day to day dilemma. This blog is popular because some of the story is funny, sad, crazy, and stupid, but overall it is very intriguing and addicting!

Here are some examples stories:

“Today, I received my passport in the mail. They got my birth date wrong. Then I picked up my birth certificate that I had sent in with the application. Turns out my parents have been celebrating my birthday on the wrong day for 16 years. FML”

“Today, I was sitting in class and I fell asleep during the lesson. I was wearing sweatpants and had an erection. My teacher came up to me and grabbed my penis. She thought it was my phone. FML"

Check out this blog if you are interested. Also, you can even download the FML app into your iphone.

As for the reading assignment, I agreed with what everyone has said. Email will continue to exist for long time because email is commonly used for long formal written communication; on the other hand, text messaging, AIM, and blog are for short informal and instance communication.
